RESOURCES

Our primary goal for this film is to connect more veterans and their families into support services. We also believe that agriculture can be a viable, holistic occupation for veterans with adequate support and training from a larger community. The following organizations and campaigns share these goals.

If you are a veteran or family member seeking immediate and confidential help, please contact the Veterans Crisis Line

FOR SUPPORT OF VETERAN FARMERS

Homegrown By Heroes (HBH) is the official farmer veteran branding program of America. The HBH logo serves to inform consumers that products donning the logo were produced by military veterans.

The program is available to farmers, ranchers, fishermen, and value-added producers of all branches and eras of military service. There are over 550 members in 48 states plus Puerto Rico. When you certify your products in the Homegrown By Heroes program, you also gain membership with Farmer Veteran Coalition (FVC). As part of your membership benefits, you will receive free assistance from FVC staff in areas such as food safety planning, marketing, and business development.
