The Independent Lens broadcast version of Farmer/Veteran is streaming online for a limited time (thru 6/12).
Airing weekly on the PBS primetime schedule, Independent Lens is television’s largest showcase of independent documentary film. “These filmmakers are both the storytellers and the journalists of our time," said Lois Vossen, Executive Producer of the series. In a moment when our country may feel irrevocably divided these films spark conversations to help us find common ground.”
Free screening and panel, along with a pop-up farmers market featuring regional veterans and a VIP reception. This event is being organized by the Kansas City Film Festival and KC-PT.

The Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival(HSDFF) is one of the longest-running and most respected documentary film festivals in the world. Nestled in the Ouachita Mountains of Hot Springs, Arkansas, this 10-day event showcases the best new works in the documentary genre from around the world. The Woodlands Auditorium is a 654 seat state-of-the-art theater located 30 miles north of downtown Hot Springs.
